Capsule Hotels

Ever fancied living in a capsule, like astronauts do? If yes, capsule hotels will make you experience just that: crawling inside a capsule with nothing but a small bed, an intercom, and a television set. Mostly patronized by traveling business men who wish to catch some sleep or people who missed the last train, capsule hotels are not recommended for foreign tourists. In fact, some even prohibit foreigners and women from checking in.

If you're on the adventurous side and want to try capsule hotels for novelty, they are usually priced between 3,000 Yen to 10,000 Yen—same price as a business hotel.
