Accommodation Options for Travellers

As you might already know, the cost of living in Japan is rather expensive, and hotel prices often mirror the expensiveness of Japanese lifestyle. This is especially evident if you plan to stay in central locations such as the areas near the Imperial Palace and the affluent districts of Ginza in Tokyo.

Compared to western hotels, hotel rooms in Japan have a smaller floor area but are more expensive. The most luxurious are the five star hotels located in central Tokyo, which cater to foreign guests and dignitaries from all over the world.

However, regardless of the type of accommodations that you are looking for, you can always count on the innate hospitality and impeccable service wherever you choose to stay. Most Japanese are very polite, and are eager to show the visitors how pleased and honored they are to be hosting your stay in their lovely country.
