Discover Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji also known as Fuji-san is the most famous peak of Japan located at the island of Honshu. It is the highest peak of Japan with a height of 3,776 meters. It is a dormant volcano and it is known for its nearly perfect cone shape. Its last eruption was in 1707.

It is considered as a sacred mountain and used to be off-limits to women. Mount Fuji has also been known as a unique cultural symbol of Japan and has become popular among tourists, artists as well as mountain climbers.
